Trend Micro, the global leader in cloud security, presents a new survey showing that low engagement of the "C-Suite" can impact security investments and expose organisations to increased cyber risks.
The term "C-suite" is a buzzword for a company's executive directors... or anyone within an organisation whose job title includes the word "Chief".
The Trend Micro study shows that it is precisely these "Chiefs" who feel too little involvement in the theme of "cybersecurity".
This low level of involvement often leads (logically) to too little willingness to invest in projects that improve the company's cyber resilience.
But the opposite is also true: often everything is approved quickly ("throwing money at it") without a thorough and critical evaluation of the project content.
