CyberContract is the first player in Belgium providing a HOTLINE for clients with a potential cyber issue.
In the event of a cyber incident or a suspicion of a cyber incident, the insured can call the CyberContract hotline free of charge.
The purpose of the CyberContract hotline assistance is to determine whether the cyber incident can be regarded as an insured claim and to provide assistance in order to limit the damage caused by the cyber incident to the insured.
The CyberContract hotline assistance organises the services by specialised recognised CyberContract partners, both online and on-site, up to 48 hours after the notification of the incident. These services include IT services, legal services, crisis management, ... etc.
As soon as it is clear that the incident is covered, we confirm the coverage in accordance with the policy conditions.
At the latest 8 hours after the launch of the CyberContract hotline assistance, an initial evaluation meeting is held with the insurers. If this evaluation reveals that the incident definitely does not qualify as an insured claim, the CyberContract hotline assistance ends. The costs of the assistance provided up to that moment are nevertheless covered under the policy up to a maximum amount of € 25,000, without exemption.
